Women and Child Wellbeing
Reinforcing gender equality, economic empowerment and political participation of women while protecting the rights of a child and ensuring their wellbeing towards creating an equitable tomorrow.

Women and children are central to social development. The status of both these groups is also a key indicator of the wellbeing of a community. Yet, given the deep rooted patriarchal nature of Indian society, both these groups continue to be discriminated against and are neglected even today. From reduction of domestic violence to malnutrition and maternal health, intervention in any aspect of women and child welfare requires a holistic approach. Propagating financial independence of women is of little value without social and political empowerment. Similarly, ensuring a child’s right to education without prohibitting child labour is not sustainable. Therefore, our interventions with women and children not only ensure a sustainable solution to a problem but a holistic one as well.
